My Story

Hi! I'm Sharome Skinner Owner of Skinner Vision Photography . I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and I've been taking pictures since I was old enough to hold a camera. It started at age 8yrs, I had a fascination with cameras and that was when I began my film career. Growing up I would have pictures & VHS tapes scattered all over my room with old footage that I enjoyed over and over always trying to duplicate what my vision would be. I challenge myself to continue my education in photography stretching myself with the philosophy “Forever a student”

I fell in love with  photography in 2013 after a friend of mine asked me to photograph her wedding. She loved the photos, I had a great time, and I realized that shooting weddings and all Events offers a tremendous wealth of opportunities to take the kind of natural, candid pictures that I love to take. Since then I’ve photographed  many weddings and events. I think I probably have the best job in the world; not only do I get to do what I love, but I also get to meet so many wonderful couples and spend time with them on the happiest day of their lives.

My Approach

It’s great for me that I get to work with people who are fun and relaxed

 My work is considered documentary in style because photography for me tells a story.  All stories are meant to be told and I look forward to helping tell yours.
